I
am Dr. W. Martin Egert. I was a practicing physician from 1980-1999. My
education has given me a well-rounded understanding of the human body with my
personal focus in nutrition, more specifically herbal science. Since 1995, I
have had a special interest in my practice helping patients stop smoking. I was
frustrated in the fact that there were essentially no products on the market
that were effective, let alone the fact that they just didn't even make sense
(90% of the market was being captured by the nicotine-replacement products
which only serve to replace nicotine from cigarettes with another source of
nicotine - patches and gums, leaving the smoker still addicted to nicotine and
no further ahead in beating the nicotine addiction). In other words, you don't
give an alcoholic more alcohol, nor do you give a smoker more nicotine from
another avenue.
At
that time, I began my quest to formulate a product that met four
criteria-safe,effective, natural and herbal. Herbs were a must, because they
are natural and the body processes them naturally, as opposed to chemicals
which have side effects and are considerably harder for the body to process. In
conjunction with a group of European chemists and a group of ex-smokers (who
were able to provide an immense amount of information on what is important to
successfully break and address the nicotine addiction), I formulated a product
consisting primarily of herbs and vitamins. Making sure that the product
provided all the functions necessary to help the smoker succeed, we ended up
with three components to our program-a liquid, a capsule and a
tea.
Our
program is a 14-day program, although it is designed to be smoke-free from day
1. It is not a stair-step or phase-out procedure. After your last cigarette for
the day, before you go to sleep, you begin our program, never to smoke again
(the product works extremely fast). Waking up a non-smoker, you now begin the
rehabilitation process for the next 14 days. As smoking has taken a toll on
most systems in your body, the ingredients in SMOKE ARREST® provide
specific functions which help to: decrease/eliminate urges and desires; cleanse
nicotine from the blood system; replenish vitamins stripped from the body;
decrease appetite; rehydrate the body that smoking has dehydrated; cleanse and
purify the lungs; keep the colon regular; rejuvenate cells killed by smoking;
KEEPS YOU CALM (extremely important in assisting you to get through the
nicotine-addiction-cycle hoop).
In July of 1999,
Herbal Remedies LLC was formed with the sole objective of helping smokers to
break the nicotine-addiction-cycle. I am the Founder and Managing Director.
Over the last few years, we have been experimenting and testing our product in
the field, and have, what we feel, is the safest, most highly effective,
natural and herbal product available. We did field studies in the Chicago
market, Phoenix market and the national market. We currently are averaging a
98% satisfaction rate by those who have used our program. These numbers are
outstanding, due to the nature of our focus being the worst ADDICTION of all to
conquer.
One of the reasons we consider what we have, a
PROGRAM, as opposed to just a product, is because we include an insert which
contains motivational tips, understanding of the psychology of accomplishing
the task at hand, tips for withdrawal and detoxification, and instructions on
proper use to achieve ultimate success. The whole program has been very
carefully and methodically put together to help the smoker "once and for all"
put smoking behind them.
